Period 1
Well its a bEAU-tiful day to be observing yet another round of Quidditch, sponsored by Vester's Testers: "You'll get a break when we god damn tell you.". *clears throat* And with the whistle blown the players sprint onto the field. It appears that the Cuddlepuffs are getting into their designated roles, Quinn isn't even going for the bludger. Good lord, she's just slamming anyone that comes near, Sharlot and Curly included. Vester, our beloved patron and master, attempts to skirt the side but its no use, he takes a light hit for his efforts.
It looks like the Cumberbatches (love the name) aren't taking this abuse sitting down. Little Sharlot is leading the charge, going straight for the test subject who would dare harm herself and her dad. With some effort, she's landed a good tackle on the beater. Satisfied with a little blood drawn, she makes a wide shot for 30, and makes it! Spyre was keeping an eye on the 10 and 20 hoop, but to no effect. Meanwhile the rest of her team is just tearing into the Cuddlepuffs, today they are really living up to that name... Curly, new face in the pool, attempts a swipe at Charlie with his club. With one miss, he comes at him from the side with a bludger, two attempts! The second one connects, somehow the Cuddlepuff chaser is still standing... but not before Vester makes a hit on him! It looks like Ginger, the seeker, is cleaning up for her teammates. 1, 2, 3 solid bludger hits on the remaining Cuddlepuffs, somehow still standing.
Walltur, Cuddlepuff seeker, is hovering over the pitch, attempting to spot the snitch. He appears to have spotted a glance, but then charges down the field to meet Charlie. Between the two of them they score three goals on the 20 hoop, the chaser with the lion's share. The whistile is blown and the period is over. While maintaining a lead, the battered Cuddlepuffs return to their lockeroom. I don't know about you folks, but I smell a come-back for the Cumberbatches!
