Hoa Li bursts out laughing at Quinn's successful die roll. "Oh ho ho! The witch waves her wand and POOF! She manages to disguise each traveler. Witch is now beautiful woman, much younger than before, dressed in noble lady gowns. Paladin is in full knight's armor, with beefy muscles underneath. Jester is now a small child, wearing colorful clothes and a mischievous grin."
He scoots the figures further across the table. "You have passed old hag. She decides her mind is playing tricks on her. Make your way through town. Paladin, do you wish to seek out the trainer to prove yourself? Jester, do you have any business to settle before heading to mountain? Or any questions for why to help this witch?"

Walltur listened intently to Hoa Li's description. Impressed with Quinn's roll and results, he began to sketch their illusions as described the the Dungeon Master. While working, Walltur thought of his character's motivations. Obviously, they have just evaded danger, and that mob from before. Although the illusion was a great boon, all spells wear off with enough time. It would probably be best if they left town as soon as possible, lest they attract more attention...
Presenting the drawing to the group, Walltur beamed at his presentation. He took another tall swig from his mug before refilling it, looking between the group members. He shrugged his shoulders and motioned his hand forward.
"Mountain!"

Hoa Li smiles and decides that Charlie's silence indicates he has no plans at this point. So, he continues the story -but not before filling another mug of beer. With a sloppy grin, he continues:
"The oddly disguised group continues through town towards the mountain, where evil Prince Snow rules. He has many traps along the way, with slaves fighting for him. The dragon hides the treasure up at top of mountain. Prince has stolen from the witch, treasure hidden by dragon. Must reach top of mountain and face dragon or prince at end. But first- come across children fighting in fighting pit! They see Jester as child and throw him into pit! Prince Snow likes to watch children fight to death, sick sick man. What do, Jester? Witch's powers can't help! Disguise spell not worn off yet!"

Quinn sat back in her seat quietly while Hoa Li and Walltur played out this bit of the story. She'd had a few beers already, so she began to slow down when she realized Charlie was way behind.
Not feeling quite so shy about their romance in public, she rested her head on Charlie's shoulder as she watched Hoa Li scoot their figures further across the table towards the mountain of napkins.
"Sorry, big guy. Looks like I'm no help right now..." She laughed.

Walltur gasped. Children fighting to the death? For entertainment?! The thought was unbelievable and chilled the large man to the core. He at least took in some small comfort that this sort of tragedy did not exist in their world, just this imaginary one.
Looking over at Quinn and Charlie, he smiled warmly at the sleepy, cuddly couple. It had been a long day, and the evening was quickly advancing. Some rest would be welcome, but not before they had found a good stopping point to their adventure.
Having studied the figures on the board, Walltur draws himself up straight. His fingers grasped his little Jester figurine, positioning him in the middle of the children. Looking to hold back from violence, he makes his figurine dip from the side to side, performing stunt falls, acrobatics, juggling and physical humor. Its been some time since his character had performed the craft, but the old skills aided him in his time of need.

Hoa Li watched as Walltur jotted down stats and flipped his little figurine around. He was amused, although he'd hoped for some verbal decision to be made. He hovered over the table as Walltur made more notes and rolled his die, with a 13.
With a shrug, Hoa Li responded, "Children are amused. Fighting stops, and just as children run to childlike Jester to play, spell wears off and Jester becomes big scary Jester once again. Children scream and run away. Group is now left alone with fork in the trail, in regular forms. Left or right?"
Hoa Li tossed a fork onto the space in the table near the figures and looked around at his band of misfits with a grin.
