First period: Ginger 'Beats' Booker Hard for 3 points of damage. His rolls are -3 for the period. Sprye Keeps the Medium goal, it goes from Medium (13DC) to Hard (17DC). Booker shoots at the Medium Goal with an 18, +3 for skills, -3 for damage for a total of 18 to beat the 17DC of the Medium goal. Booker shoots again at the medium goal with a 17, +3 for skills, -3 for damage for a total of 17 to tie the 17DC of the Medium goal. Rules as written says "Score goals by beating the hoop’s DC" If they succeed on ties, we may want to clear that up.

I've always assumed "beating" means "equal to or higher." Like, you need AT LEAST a 17 or whatever.
Just a semantics issue. I guess

Unless it was updated elsewhere, this is how I have been interpreting things: vesterstesters.freeforums.net/thread/2/quidditch-101ACTIONS Each period you will post 3 actions to your team’s private board. The possible actions are Beat, Keep, Chase, Seek, and Rest. At the end of the period all actions are revealed. Actions are resolved in this order: Rest, Beat, Keep, Chase, then Seek. To succeed an action, your roll (20-sided die roll + skill bonus - injury penalty) must meet or exceed the DC (difficulty class). Each action has a variety of options (see below). You must declare an option when you roll.
