Some of you guys have mentioned simplifying the game. Are there too many options to consider? Do you find it difficult to learn and play?
I was thinking about reducing the die to a d12 to remove some randomness and only having 2 options for each action, Normal and Hard DCs. So beaters could only deal 1 or 2 damage. There would only be 2 hoops (10 and 20, or 20 and 30), so Keepers could more easily decide between them.
Thoughts?

I don't think the game needs to be simplified at all.
I think the confusion came from how complicated turn order looks at first. Once we got the hang of it the game is super easy to play as is.

Agreed, I think over several games we'll find the rules to be pretty second nature and I expect we'll eventually come across a game of low rolls. It's like a lot of D20 systems, each night can go either way or in between.
